3 Must Have Apps for Comic Book Lovers

Sunday, August 9, 2015

Backup of my original blog post found here.

If you have an Android smart phone there are 3 really great apps that you cannot live without! The 3 apps I'm going to go over are for reading comics they all have their good points and virtually no bad points.
This app is not for pirates sorry. You can buy allot of mainstream comics from various comic publishers like Marvel and DC. They also have allot of free comics. The free comics are mostly the first issue of a series to get people looking. The others are from their online free comic day campaign which is very cool cuz most comic stores do that. what makes this app stand out from the rest is the way you read the comics. It doesn't just put a comic page up. Each comic is almost like a video. It pulls up one box at a time so you know which one they want you to read next and they do it very well to where it actually enhances the experience. And yes they have free issues of tales from the crypt XD!
This is your must have comic book reader. It is used to open cbr and cbz files which are comic book archives. It
Generates a thumbnail, lets you organize how you like it and lets you read your comics in HD! It's a really nice app especially compared to other comic book readers out on the market. and it doesn't lag which is even better. If you don't know how to pirate comics you probably won't use this app cuz its for reading comics you already have. Look up how to use torrents and the pirate bay if you wanna learn. :)
This is your first and last stop for Japanese comics: Manga (pronounced Mon-Guh). Anime and Manga is just as well known as cartoons and comics. If you like comics you'll probably like this. :) If you're Otaku you already know about manga lol. This is a really amazing app that may look confusing at first but just play with it you'll figure it out. It has 5 pirate sources for all things manga if you know about a manga it probably does too and will give it to you for free not to mention it downloads to SD Card so you can give it to friends, spread it around, or move it from one phone to the next with ease! Edit: It might be called something different now. I can't find it on the app store but this looks like it might be the same app just diff name like they reuploaded it. The GUI looks exactly the same as the original app: SSManga by The Group Developer
Well those are your 3 must have apps for comic books. Hope out helps you out!
